Destructive Consumption Destroying Mind & Body of Mankind

Economic impact of excess weight now exceeds $1.7 trillion,
Milken Institute, October 31, 2018.

“The prevalence of obesity in the U.S. population has increased steadily since the 1960s—from 3.4 percent of adults in 1962 to 39.8 percent in 2016”

Nation of Fatties
“In all, 180.5 million people—or 60.7 percent of the population ages 2 and over—were either obese or overweight.”

1.7 Trillion Dollar Overeating Problem
“The impact of obesity and overweight on the U.S. economy has eclipsed $1.7 trillion (a year), an amount equivalent to 9.3 percent of the nation's gross domestic product, according to a new...report on the role excess weight plays in the prevalence and cost of chronic diseases.”

"The estimate includes $480.7 billion in direct health-care costs and $1.24 trillion in lost productivity…" (2016)

Type 2 Diabetes Costs
“...treatment cost for all type 2 diabetes cases...was $121 billion and indirect costs were $215 billion. On an individual basis, that comes to $7,109 in treatment costs per patient and $12,633 in productivity costs.”

“Obesity as a risk factor is by far the greatest contributor to the burden of chronic diseases in the U.S., accounting for 47.1 percent of the total cost of chronic diseases nationwide.”

Bottom Line

Born to Run
Our human bodies and brains were made to rapidly cross all types of terrains traveling in sophisticated group formations carrying heavy loads in all weather while observing, analyzing, and navigating.

Planet of Fun
We humans have the assets and skills to run our asses across every type of terrain on this planet, meaning that the deserts, jungles, tundras, the outback, mountains, ice, and snow decorating this planet are exactly what we were designed to deal with, through the ranges of weather each of these environments can throw down, while moving in packs, while chasing something, or being chased by something.

Sophisticated Fun
Developing some degree of these, your inherent physical and sensory human design capabilities, is critical to understanding who you really are, and what you were really born into.
Only Nature can show you that, if you engage it yourself, meaning that only you can engage Nature to find the measure of your own unique physical, observational, and analytical assets, and that only you can interpret the process and results for yourself.

Be the Point of the Spear
The bottom line is that using your inherent physical and observational capabilities to engage wilderness over long times and distances promotes top notch physical and mental health.

Consumer Devil’s Hell
The further you get from, “It,” being the Spirit of Life in Nature, the worse off your mind and body will be. The unhealthy minds and bodies of the vast majority of the urban, “consumers,” in this Nation are separated by vast physical and spiritual distances from the Spirit of Life in Nature…and they show it...

They have every material gratification, except the physical and spiritual health their greedy desires and corrupt practices have driven-off.

Greed and Self-Gratification as the basis of, "rationality," is irrational...and unhealthy.
