One Endangered Species Eating Another

We are the Force Damaging Both Killer Whales and Salmon

Recovery of West Coast marine mammals boosts consumption of chinook salmon,
OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY, November 20, 2017.

We have driven Killer Whale & Salmon populations to the edge of extinction. Only through extreme, and extremely expensive environmental actions we have very narrowly prevented ourselves from killing all the Salmon & Killer Whales.

The real problems facing the Salmon & Whales cannot be mitigated locally, because they do not have precisely local causes.
The Whales and Salmon are direct victims of the increasing "indirect" environmental/weather pressures put on both species by the radical climate changes human activities have been driving over the past forty years, compounded by the direct population destruction centuries of overfishing and habitat destruction have wrought.

The only solution is to dramatically reduce all human pressures. Let the species grow into the their Natural Spaces that we vacate, and grow into populations sufficient to eat one other at will.
