The Damages We Do
Environmentalists sue, seek to stop oil wells in protected aquifer,
OC Register, August 4, 2016.
It has been common practice of the Dems to sell our health, safety, and environment to their corporate sponsors for decades. The examples of PGE and the Nuke Industry complete this trifecta of industrial death.
The link between vast wealth and politicians must be broken to protect every aspect of life.
No corporation, person, or organization should have any more economic clout in politics than the individual voter. All power in democracy must come from organizing equals, not a criminal elite purchasing politicians.

Sierra forests turned to brown,
Calmatters, July 29, 2016.
I just drove up the West Flank of the Sierra on Highway 108 to Sonora Pass. Huge swaths of low and high elevation forest were dead. The rust color of the trees below 8000 feet is dramatic. The silver color of the dead forest above 8000 feet of elevation is more subtle, and only partially hides the fact that the percentage of tree death above 8000 feet is dramatic.
