Upper Dollar Lake, just before Arrowhead Lake, enroute to Rae Lakes

We just returned from an Epic trip, The Rae Lakes Loop.  We tried to walk this loop last year, but my younger brother got sick on the second day, and we had to walk out.  So, we returned to finish the loop and it was well worth the trip.  So, after 46 miles of perfect blue skies, water crossing, and snow fields, I am glad to say it was "Epic".

Hey, What were your in and out dates? Miles and days?

How were the snow conditions for the climb over the N. side of Glenn Pass, and the deep canyon down to Charlotte Lake?

How did the rivers look?

It looks like the conditions are finally beginning to catch up to the calendar! Finally!

Beautiful pictures...Thanks.

I've been sick in the mountains. Pretty rough. Nothing serious, stomach problems. Except not eating and drinking gets serious quick in the mountains.

You can post a whole a series of images for the same trip in a single post. If you want multiple pages for the same trip you can set up your sequence of days (or sections of the trail) with each day as a "page," linked to the previous and next pages. Select "book" as the content type. Any subsequent pages constructed in that book post will be linked to the previous pages in that post.

This way future visitors will be able to easily find the series of images depicting this trip.
