 INTRODUCTION
Nature is no longer in charge. There's a new sheriff in town, and he's a real piece of work. In any case, the greedy motivations of man have replaced the driving fertility of Nature as the driving force on this planet, and even the scientists have noticed. Which means it needs a name...

 

Done. I already named it, when I recognized the depth of our nasty effects a long time ago: The Scum-o-cene. We are leaving the spiritual and physical equivilant of a nasty bathtub ring on the Spirit and Body of Nature.
