This section covers the mileages and elevations of the Tahoe to Yosemite, Tahoe Rim, and Pacific Crest Trails between Meeks Bay and Echo Summit.
The elevation figure given above does not take into account the 2561 and 1430 foot climbs, and the subsequent descents, you make up Phipps Pass and through Dicks Passes, respectively, as you head South to Echo Summit from the Meeks Bay trailhead.
