For excellent historical information on Ebbetts Pass see the The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association's History of the Route page.

This group formed in 2006 according to them as a non-profit corporation to preserve, enhance and promote the unique resources of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway. EPSBA is a state tax-exempt corporation, and is currently in the process of applying for federal tax-exempt status.
