Our growth policy is just crazy, when you consider how our domestic water and energy supplies have been dwarfed by our growth during the last 35 years. At the same time we have spread these irresponsible growth policies around the world, resulting in pollution that has destroyed our natural climate and stable seasons. In the meantime, our social infrastructure has been destroyed, and the balance between the rich and the poor has been lost in a storm of crude oppertunism. And now this ill gotten wealth has been used by the richest players in our country to buy and sell the highest political offices in our land. And the politicians all say, "Full Steam Ahead," Drill everywhere, Nuclear Energy Everywhere, and just keep growing and consuming. The politicians are saying all of this while we have not even finished taking the heat for the last 35 years of irresponsible growth. I can't wait to see what brilliant ideas they will come up with next. Wait, let me guess, Even More Irresponsible Growth.
