We have disturbing climate news from the top and bottom of the planet.

Warming climate may release vast amounts of carbon from long-frozen Arctic soils, University of Georgia, April 25, 2015

And

Gravity data show that Antarctic ice sheet is melting increasingly faster, Princton, April 30, 2015.

Add this information to the fact that the biggest sheet of ice in Antartica, the West Antarctic Ice Sheet is unhooked, and sliding to its ultimate destruction:

West Antarctic Ice Sheet Is Collapsing, AAAS Science Mag, May 12, 2014.

These facts guarantee that we are in the fast lane of an inevitable trajectory to a completely different planet.
Basic logic brings us to the conclusion that our behavior assures that all we know and rely upon is in the process of going away.

Rather than increasing our mutual security and general welfare, our irresponsible policies of greed, growth, and cheating have assured that what little of the remaining natural web of life and weather we enjoyed yesterday will be gone tomorrow.

"Si Se Puede?"

Today we are living between the normal patterns of the past and the clear indications of crashing planetary fertility.

We must not just stop the irresponsible growth and offshoring that have collasped our environment and our security, we must undo the vast social structures of greed, poverty, corruption, and irresponsible growth that have strangled both our society and  have reached out to kill our whole planet.

I am glad I'm old, and have seen the last remnants of our natural planet before it drowns under our flood tide of human greed and ignorance.
