Ancient Human Travel Guide: DNA

Observing Waves of Physical & Cultural Influences

Ancient DNA tells tales of humans' migrant history,
Howard Hughes Medical Institute, February 21, 2018.

"...illuminating the world before the dawn of written history..."

"...the number of ancient humans whose DNA has been analyzed and published to 1,336 individuals - up from just 10 in 2014."

"When we look at the data, we see surprises again and again and again."

"...ancient DNA finding also explain(s) the "strange result" of a genetic connection that had been hinted at in the genomes of modern-day Europeans and Native Americans... The link is evidence from people who lived in Siberia 24,000 years ago, whose telltale DNA is found both in Native Americans, and in the Yamnaya steppe populations and their European descendants."

So, we meet again. The question is now, as it was then, "on what terms?"

Scientists are like chefs, chefs who take blood and turn it into, "gravy."

The "clean" DNA these scientists are, "reading," was most often spread across continents, and around the world, by the violence and blood of one very coherent group invading another, to take their resources as their own. The sanitary analysis of the scientists has had its "blood transformed into gravy" by ignoring the bloody process of just how this sausage was, and is, being made.

That ancient "migration" to England is what we would today call, "genocide..."

Though the technology humanity employs today has changed a lot since then, since our most ancient past, the terms and motivations by which we apply our, "available technology," to our environment and each other have not changed much, if at  all.

We just use "cleaner" technologies and words to commit and describe our crimes.
