Post Drought Sequoia Report

How have drought, climate change impacted beloved giant sequoias? New study finds out,
Fresno Bee, November 20, 2017.

Yes, both have affected the Sierra's Sequoias. Though they tolerated this intense drought well, compared to the Sierra generally, which suffered a massive forest mortality event, this research shows the Sequoias have been weakened and are vunerable to ongoing pressures from forest mismanagement, forest succession and, our expected increases in drought frequency and intensity.
